Its go, go, go!

I have them, that’s right after all the waiting and panicking I am now looking at my Russian and Mongolian Visas, and my, my, my they are beautiful pieces of paper. All the dates are correct and the best news is that my Mongolian visa is for up to 3 months which is great news just in case it takes longer to get my Chinese Visa. I also handed over £300 for my train tickets from Latvia to Mongolia, I know its more expensive to get them from a travel agent but I really didn’t fancy queuing for hours at train stations trying to buy tickets when my Russian is well, pretty non existent.

I went back to Mersea yesterday to take my final bits and bob back to mum and dads. As its the last time I will see Dad for a year as he flies out to Africa next Wednesday we had a bit of a family outing down to the Coast Inn. I must say the food was great but shame about the view of the car park blocking the sunset over the Hard. Or for none Mersea people the Harbour. I took this photo of us all so I could it with me.

I am also taken many drunken photos of my friends that I can show the nomads in Mongolia. This is to show them why its a good idea to stay away from Europe…….. mainly the Essex region of the UK. That’s just got me thinking, i wonder how many people from Mongolia have moved to the UK and now live in Essex, one question for the 82ASK text service. Answer tomorrow.
