No more Internet, no more phone, no more digital TV, The Embassy is out of the communication loop… and I must say I bloody hate it. The thought of surviving 3 weeks without communication in London scared me so much I didn’t even last a day without it.
I had to have some kinda mobile so bought a pay as you go sim, god only knows how we got along before the invention of mobiles phones.
Then today Homechoice took away the digital tv and Internet which is a right pain (what on earth does someone do without email, MSN and MYSpace for 3 weeks?). So last night I was busy downloading episodes of Lost and Heroes to watch over the weekend as I know boredom will strike. Then after the weekend it gets even worse when I have to take my PC back to mum and dads for storage. That means all im left with in the Embassy is a TV with 5 channels. Talk about going back to the 80s…. no, wait I was better off in the 80s with my ZX spectrum and CB.
As I said before, I didn’t even last a day without technology (well 4 hours to be exacted) as im writing this blog on my PDA and stealing my neighbours WIFI internet connection. All this whilst I sit on the toilet….. God I love technology!
