Just about everyone in this world has headed of to Glastonbury or the Radiohead concert this week except me who had a rock n Roll day spent reading my Photographer magazine down Hyde Park.
The good news is The new Sigur Ros album came out this week which I must say is as uplifting and unique as Takk. Whilst working my way through the album it got me thinking about my soundtrack of my trip. I thought in the spirit of keeping this blog alive I would create a soundtrack.
Music played a big part of my trip and my iPod was a very good travelling friend all the way around the world. He saw me through the good times and the bad, on 3 day train rides and Trans-Atlantic crossing. Yep, Mr iPod didn’t break or die but I did have to replace the headphones 3 times.
So I thought it would be a fun idea to creative a soundtrack of the most played songs on my iPod for all of you to enjoy where ever you are reading this.

Ok, I know its all very hipster/Shoreditch aka Mr Stu. But I know what you are thinking “Sam where are the guilty pleasures?”.
Well, fear not my pop pickers (I can’t believe I sharing these with you). I’m not taking all the credit for these as they were drummed in to my head from the constant radio play in California.
I’m rather sad today as I had to say goodbye to a good friend, yes that’s right it was time to say goodbye to my amazing Leica 35mm lens. I didn’t want to sell it but i’m so skint something had to go. I’m sure he will go to a great home. To cheer myself up I treated myself and bought an Fujifilm Instax 100 off Ebay for a grand sum of £4.50. The camera looks like some kind of Fisherprice toy camera but I’ve heard its a little big gem in the instant/Polaroid world.
For some reason the youtubes arent working on my work computer – but I presume one of those videos is ‘nickelback’. For even contemplating listening to this tripe you should be banished to the remotest part of siberia and forced to eat grasshoppers and scorpions every day for the rest of your life
I am currently crying in a corner of the office because im that GUTTED that im missing kings of leon headlingin glasto :( :(
