Steve. The Man Who Can

Steve, real name Mika was a Russian/German truck driver on his way to see his Mum and Dad in a town East of Kiev called Sumy. He was a great guy who bought us beer and fed us with all manner of meat and cheese for the last part of the train ride. He spoke a bit of English so at least we could thank him for stuffing our bellys.
So I was wrong, he wasn’t an arms dealer after all. We are now in Kiev and as we drove through the city at night my first impressions were that it had the look and feel of any other Russian cities I visited last year. I shall let you know how we get on.
