I <3 NYC...

I’m flying out to Manhattan later today for a long weekend of photography and partying. I couldn’t have timed this trip any better, as four of my favorite photographers are have exhibitions at the same time. The current exhibition at MOMA The Modern Century -Henri Cartier-Bresson. London Gaza Protest. Jan 2009...

In January 2009 I documented one of the many Gaza protest in London. During the previous weeks, the protests  had taken a turn for the worse as the peaceful protest turned into a full blown riot as masked yobs threw missiles at the police, setting fire to placards and generally causing havoc by climbing on fences surrounding the Israeli Embassy. The protest I attended had far fewer people attending than the previous weeks, with about three thousand people marching their way from Hyde Park through the streets of Mayfair and on to the Israeli Embassy. iPhone App Categories...

I’m hoping the version 4 software will sort this issue out on the iPhones GUI, but for now this is how I’m grouping my apps. Trying to find a certain app on pages upon pages of colourful icons has been bugging me for a while. I seem to find myself scrolling endlessly left and right searching for an app before forgetting what I was looking for in the first place.  I came up with a little solution I thought I would share with you, maybe some of you do it this way already, but I find it far easier to group my apps in to categories on each page, so: Page 1 is my...

500 Days of Winter...

S.A.D: Seasonal Affective Disorder. I think I had it, I’m not sure, but I think I had it. Why? Because when those grizzly clouds rolled in from the Atlantic and firmly planted themselves on my city for the duration of what felt like 100 dark years, drowning out the Sun in a sea of monotone of Communist grey.
